Next steps

Too Late to Pray is now published in ebook on Amazon and through all other channels via IngramSpark. Now the hard part: learning the marketing game for self-pulishing. My beta readers, critiquers, et. al. have received their copies of the paperback and I look forward to their reviews appearing on Amazon. Next up, I’ve contacted the ladies at Hello Again Books in Cocoa Village (https://www.helloagainbooks.com/). They’re a small retail book store, very supportive of the local writing community. My hope is to be invited to their Meet the Author program. That may happen in July.

There are several contests I’m considering entering also. There’s the chance to win some cash, but more importantly is to secure a review or two. Call it “validation.” It’s good to get the opinion of fellow writer’s, but even better when it comes with no strings attached.

Meanwhile, work continues on the latest novel and a new short story. More on that next time.

T.W. Lofgren’s career began as a photographer, passing through a period in construction trades and as a claims adjuster for a major company. His creative writing developed from a challenge set down by his daughter—to explore a talent first discovered in a college creative writing course. His writing style blends satire, reality, and fantasy to make a poignant commentary on today’s critical issues. His short stories were published in several anthologies, and his novella, Dodging Butterflies—The Autobiography of Thomas Speaker, gained recognition for participation in the Writer’s Digest self-published book awards. An active member of The Space Coast Writer’s Guild and Palm Bay Writer’s Group, Mr. Lofgren currently lives on Florida’s Space Coast, where he struggles to keep his garden thriving.
